Privacy policy

This is a courtesy translation. The legally binding version is the German Datenschutzerklärung.

This website is deliberately built to minimise data collection. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party content and uses no analytics or tracking tools. The following explains which data is nevertheless processed.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Spree Hybrid & Kommunikationstechnik GmbH
Schkopauer Ring 24
12681 Berlin
Germany

Phone: +49 (0)30 93 44 25 0

2. Hosting

This website is operated on a virtual server provided by IONOS SE. The server is located in Berlin, Germany. No personal data is transferred to a country outside the European Union.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS SE. IONOS processes the data exclusively on our instructions and implements the technical and organisational safeguards agreed by contract.

3. Access data (server log files)

Each time a page is requested, the web server automatically records:

The IP address is truncated at the moment the log entry is written. For IPv4 addresses the final segment is replaced by a zero (203.0.113.45 becomes 203.0.113.0); IPv6 addresses are shortened accordingly. A complete IP address is never stored. Attribution to an individual person is therefore practically impossible.

Purpose: ensuring technical operation, detecting and resolving faults, and defending against attacks on our systems.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of this website.

Retention period: log files are deleted automatically after seven days.

4. Encryption

This website is served exclusively over a TLS-encrypted connection (indicated by https:// in the address bar). Certificates are issued by the Let's Encrypt certificate authority. No personal data is transmitted to third parties in this process.

5. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party embedding

This website sets no cookies. No analysis of user behaviour takes place. No tracking pixels, social media buttons, map or video services are embedded. Fonts are loaded exclusively from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or comparable services is established. For this reason, no consent banner is required. On the contact page we merely link to Google Maps; a connection to Google is only established once you actively click that link.

6. Contact by e-mail and telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone — for example with a project enquiry — we process the data you provide in order to handle your request.

Data processed: your e-mail address or telephone number, your name and the content of your message including any attachments (e.g. bills of materials or production data).

Purpose: handling and answering your enquiry and, where applicable, initiating a contractual relationship.

Legal basis: where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Retention period: we store your enquiry until it has been fully processed. Where your message constitutes business or commercial correspondence, it is subject to the statutory retention periods under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO (six, or eight to ten, years); processing is restricted accordingly for that period.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

An informal message to is sufficient to exercise these rights.

As access data is stored only in truncated form, we cannot attribute it to a specific person. Pursuant to Art. 11 (2) GDPR we are therefore unable to provide information about this data unless you supply additional information enabling identification.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (www.datenschutz-berlin.de).

9. Changes to this policy

We will amend this privacy policy whenever the actual processing on this website changes, for instance through new features. The version published here applies.
